At night you can relax in a quiet bistro, take in the local cuisine and feel like you are truly in a different world.

In late afternoon you will be well advised to visit the temple sanctuary at Tanah Lot, where you can capture the silhouette of this beautiful temple, which amazingly can be seen rising from the water that surrounds it, the tranquillity of the setting is truly amazing. Built in the 16th century by one of the very last priests from Java, it is said to have poisonous sea snakes at its base that guard against intruders and also evil spirits. This truly is a sight that you will want to capture on camera as a special memory of its mesmerizing beauty.

One of the most awesome places in Bali to visit is the still very much active volcano Gunung Batur, the rumblings of this magnificent volcano can still be felt from time to time, in fact two famous eruptions took place in 1917 and 1926 and are still spoke of today in nearby villages, with a more recent eruption in 1994. You can climb to many high points which offer panoramic views of the area where you will also see a crater lake that was the result of a huge eruption more than 30,000 years ago. The summit is very famous for the breathtaking view of the sunset.

Another great family day out and also a must visit attraction in Bali has to be the Treetop Adventure Park, this is an experience in itself, with its Tarzan swings, bridges and jumps you have the thrilling experience of becoming a real life Tarzan, with its six circuits around the trees and flying fox zip lines, your heart will be in your mouth as you fly through the air, these are great for groups of friends to participate in and what better way to relax afterwards than in the Botanical Garden, a great way to end your day.

Uluwatu really is the sightseeing capital of the world, never before will you have seen so many wonderful views than you can see from this cliff top temple, with the famous and friendly monkeys that freely roam in search of one of the many generous visitors bearing peanuts and apart from the historical point of being one of the oldest temples in Bali, it is also in one of the most unusual positions ever, here you can watch the ocean below the 100 meter high cliff whilst the surfers hit the surf, experience the fantastic sunset whilst dining in one of the restaurants perched up high, an unforgettable experience.
